St John’s Innovation Centre (SJIC) welcomes visitors from all over the world who are interested in learning how we operate and work within the Cambridge and East of England technopoles. The About section of the SJIC website provides a comprehensive source of information about our operations and history and should be reviewed prior to any meeting.
In order to meet the needs of the increasing number of groups who wish to visit us, SJIC has established procedures as follows:
Please let us know the day(s) and time(s) your group would like to visit us as well as the number of persons in your group and we will endeavor to arrange a mutually convenient time that will fit within your schedule.
For groups of 2-10 people, the fee for a group meeting is £300.
For groups of 11-25 people, the fee is £400.
For groups in excess of 25 people – please contact us for an individual rate.
All prices quoted are inclusive of refreshments and VAT.
Group meetings normally last around 1.5 hours and consist of a one hour presentation followed by questions and a brief tour of the building. We provide refreshments – tea, coffee, water, etc. Our presentation covers the following aspects of St John’s innovation Centre (SJIC):-
- SJIC history and purpose
- Services and accommodation SJIC provides to early stage businesses
- Types of businesses based here
- Economic Development programmes that we manage (European, Regional, Local)
- Elements of business incubation
- The Cambridge Cluster and its evolution
