Have you thought about becoming a Business Angel?
Have you ever thought of becoming a business angel? If so, entrepreneurs in the East of England have never needed your support more than they do now.
- Are you an experienced business person with a sector specialism?
- Do you have time to spare and money that you can afford to tie up for a few years? (the average investment is £42,000 but you could invest anything from £10,000 up)
- Would you be interested in investing in and advising a young/start-up business?
- Did you know that some angels have more than doubled their money in just a few years and claimed tax relief on their investment?
The British Business Angel Association and NESTA (the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts) published a report last year that confirmed the importance of business angels in supporting early stage companies and painted a very positive picture of the investment returns.
- Did you know there are significant tax breaks available for business angels?
- Do you know what makes a good business angel?
- Do you know where your nearest angel group is based?
These questions and many others will be answered at our informal events at the following venues:
