INNOVATION MEDIA EVENT AND PITCHING SESSION

Entrepreneurs with innovative technologies or near-market products are invited to participate in Meerkats and Avatars an event, organised by St John’s Innovation Centre, which aims to help early-stage companies to promote themselves to potential investors and the media.

In previous years, demonstrations have included scale models, prototype devices, interactive videos, online demos, and even live animals! Participants are encouraged to use creativity to engage their audience and tell their story.
Six demonstrators will also be given the chance to present an elevator pitch to a panel of investors and will be given advice and coaching on doing this.

Overview of demonstrators
11.00 – 14.00 One-on-one interviews with media buffet lunch
14.30 onwards Pitching session to investors (invitation only)
14.30 onwards Networking opportunity, in conjunction with Cambridge Enterprise, aimed at providing investors and finance community with a snap shot of the most innovative new companies emerging from East of England
